APR. 3, 2008 MEETING RECAP:
We first discussed that the May 1 meeting will be moved to Tuesday April 29 instead of a that Thursday due to a time conflict. We also decided the second session of May we'll have a Voice over session and we'll read a complete Shakespeare work in the summer. We shared again our recent acting experiences. We then went on to cold reading. We had a new member today so we introduced her to the world of film acting. Finally we ended the night with our first night of improv where we all gave each other scenarios to work out.
MAR. 20, 2008 MEETING RECAP:
We started with some on camera auditioning with the newest sides. After which we started sharing experiences and talk about the industry as pertaining to Asian Americans.
MAR. 6, 2008 MEETING RECAP:
We shared our experiences and also welcomed our new members today. We did cold readings on new sides and learned a lot. We did miss some of our regulars because they are busy working on gigs that they have booked so congrats to them.
FEB. 21, 2008 MEETING RECAP:
We shared our experiences as an actor and our recent job bookings. We also did some cold reading on camera all night. We extended the meeting all the way till 1030pm because we were all so into the whole process.
FEB. 7, 2008 MEETING RECAP:
We shared some of our experiences as an actor as well as our methods of approaching a character.
We also shared some ideas about what we would like to do, including more discussion on techniques as well as developing stories for each other and for webseries and read-throughs of various works.
